Research Camp privacy notice
Version: 22 October 2026
Dr Mohamed Abuzaid administers applications for the Research Camp for Arab Radiographers. Contact: mabdelfatah@sharjah.ac.ae.
What we collect and why
We collect your names in English and Arabic, age, sex, contact details, university of graduation or current university, professional profile links, professional background, research experience, written answers, availability, declarations and CV you submit to assess your application, select participants and administer the camp. A photograph is optional and is not required for selection.
Who can access your application
Applications and uploaded files are held in private website storage. Access through the organiser dashboard is restricted to Dr Mohamed Abuzaid’s authorised account. Hosting and storage providers process this information to operate the service. The email delivery provider processes your name, email address and application reference for confirmation messages, and your name, country and reference for the organiser’s notification. The organiser’s notification email includes the uploaded CV and photograph (if provided) as attachments. Applicant confirmation emails do not include these attachments.
Photographs and research use
Your photograph will not be published. Application information will not be used as research data under this consent. Any permission for publication or research use will be requested separately and will remain optional.
Retention and your choices
Applications are retained for selection and camp administration. You may contact the organiser to request access, correction, withdrawal or deletion, or to ask about retention. Information no longer needed for these purposes will be removed by the organiser. Withdrawing an application ends consideration for this camp.
Operational records
The site records submission time and a hashed connection identifier to limit automated abuse. Do not include identity documents or unnecessary health, financial or other sensitive information in your CV.
